About me

My name is Ben Orenstein, and I write about software and good design.  I’m on a mission to become a world-class developer.  The useful stuff I learn on the way finds its way here.

I publish screencasts for Rails Developers at Codeulate Screencasts.

I spoke at RailsConf in 2010 as part of my fervent vim evangelism.

I enjoy contributing to Rails when I’ve got the time.

This is me on github. I have some dotfiles you might like.

I tweet mostly about ruby and vim here: @r00k
